About SuttaVinaya.com

SuttaVinaya.com was founded in 2010 by lay devotee Eric Poh (EP) with the permission of Ven. Dhammavuddho. After being deeply inspired by Ven. Dhammavuddho's teachings, EP felt a strong desire to share the Dhamma as widely as possible. Initially, he began distributing CDs of the talks that were already in circulation. However, as the supply of these CDs soon became limited, EP sought donations to fund the reproduction of additional copies.

Being a web programmer, EP soon realized that creating a website for easy, instant access to the talks would be an even better way to share the Dhamma. In 2012, SuttaVinaya.com was established, providing an accessible platform for streaming Ven. Dhammavuddho's talks online.

Today in 2025, thanks to the listeners who help to keep this website alive, a new and improved version of SuttaVinaya.com is launched focusing on better search capabilities with Google enhanced (no more Google - lousy, ownself enhanced - much better) features and all talks will be transcribed, making every area of the audio talks indexable and searchable.
